Tell Your Story

We need a name to know whose story it is. If you want to be anonymous, you can put a made-up nickname or type "Anonymous" into the box though.

We do need a real email address, but we will not publish it or tell anybody else your email address. It's just so that if we need to get in touch with you about the story we can do that.

Your story text goes here. I suggest you write it on your own computer in a program like Word and save it, then cut-and-paste it into the box. That way you have a copy in case something goes wrong.

If you would like some pictures to go with your post, you can upload them here. Just type a sentence or so describing what the picture shows, so I know. For example "Me in the wheelchair I finally got" would be a good description. If you want to include more than one image, contact me and send them and I'll put them in by hand.

If you would like some help editing your story, here's where to indicate it. If you don't want any help, we will honour that too - it's your story to tell.

It's possible that somebody such as a journalist or politician may contact Obstructive Technology, wanting to use your story as a media story or even possibly to help you out. If this does happen, what would you like Obstructive Technology to do?

If you selected that we could send your contact details to people, please type them here. Just put in the contact details you would like to share here - for example your email address, phone number, whatever you are or are not comfortable sharing. You choose what to share.

Before you submit your story please go back and check that you have permission from anybody who you identify in your story. If you can't get their permission, you need to change their name and take out (or change) any details of the story that would identify them. If you aren't sure about this, contact me and I'll help you check if anybody is identified enough to need permissions.
